You can also "pre-purchase" license registration for the next major release of Flower. Pre-purchases enable you to directly fund future development. Pre-purchase customers have a "seat at the table" in that they receive special attention when requesting new features or other forms of assistance.

Please Note! The pre-purchase of a license registration is not a promise to produce a release of Flower by any particular date or to include any particular features in that next release.

I offer consultation and project assistance services, preferably but not exclusively conducted via email and similar means.

To keep things simple, my fees and agreements are strictly structured as retainer and bonus agreements: I may agree to work with you, on some project or for a specific occasion, in exchange for a non-refundable, no-fault, no-entanglements retainer. Depending on the nature of your project, I may ask you to pay an additional (previously agreed upon) bonus upon successful completion of milestones within the project.

My consultation / project assistance services are no fault and without entanglements. "No fault" means that your retainer is non-refundable and that I have no recourse should you choose to not pay the demanded bonus: we walk away in the case of disagreements. "Without entanglements" means that I am not liable to you for any specific performance and that no software or other materials that I develop are "works for hire" belonging to you. If I write and give you new software in response to your project, I'll retain all ownership of its copyrights, potential patents, etc. and in exchange will provide you that code under the Open Software License version 3.0 or a similar open source license.
